Collaborative Partners
Current Partnerships: The Founders and Board of AMCS have made community partnerships a priority for the development of this community school. The following are already established partnerships of AMCS.
BLOCK HAWLEY
Developed and Implemented AMCS’ facilities plan based upon its needs. Block Hawley has been instrumental in the facility identification process and is currently negotiating a lease agreement with the landlord of the building AMCS has identified. They have also been proactive in seeking other partnerships that can assist with AMCS facilities and financial needs.
MISSOURI PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
Provides technical assistance and consultation services to AMCS through the CharterStart program.
THE LAFAYETTE SQUARE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION
Assists AMCS with marketing its mission and vision to AMCS’ geographical service area. The organization is coordinating with other neighborhood associations to build support and awareness of AMCS and offering IT support to better connect AMCS to the community.
ARCTURIS
Created the logo and branding image for AMCS and has used its knowledge working with other schools to assist AMCS in finding a facility that best meets its needs. Employees of Arcturis have been involved in the marketing of AMCS and its facilities needs assessment for the past six months on a Pro-Bono basis.
ST. LOUIS UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF BUSINESS
Provided interns to assist with business planning and development.
DANIEL JONES AND ASSOCIATES
Provides on-going consultation to AMCS with regard to budgeting and finance. Daniel Jones and Associates is an educational accounting and auditing firm and has assisted AMCS in making budgets and cash flow forecasts that are aligned with DESE requirements. They also provide consultation on the establishment of back office procedures to ensure proper financial management even before AMCS opens it doors. AMCS plans to contract with Daniel Jones and Associates for it Business Manager services upon opening.
O’LEARY, BROKAW AND ASSOCIATES
In an Industrial Organizational Psychology consulting firm that works with AMCS to develop a teacher and staff selection process that identifies candidates with the core competencies needed for AMCS to be a successful organization and carry out its mission. Once all core competencies and behaviors attached to those competencies are identified, they will work with Coro- St. Louis to design the full employee selection program.
CORO LEADERSHIP CENTER-ST. LOUIS
Creates dynamic professional development opportunities for staff, teachers and Board. They are also assisting AMCS in implementing the leadership methodology of Coro- St. Louis into an educational framework and designing a staff selection program that will identify the personnel who can best carry out AMCS’ mission.
CIVITAS
Works with AMCS to develop a Model UN after school program and ensure that AMCS gain a global perspective in their education.
